Description

Baked crispy salmon with bang bang sauce is a flavorful, golden salmon dish topped with a creamy, sweet-spicy sauce – perfectly paired with rice and fresh veggies.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb salmon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika

Bang Bang Sauce:

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or prep with a thin layer of oil.
  2. Cut the salmon into individual portions if desired. Pat each piece dry with a paper towel, then rub the spice mix (salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika) evenly over the top of the salmon.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and soy sauce until smooth. Set half of the sauce aside for serving later.
  4. Place the seasoned salmon on the prepared baking sheet. Spread a small spoonful of the bang bang sauce over the top of each piece.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes, then switch to broil (select to broil on high if your oven has the option; otherwise just select broil) for another 2 – 3 minutes, or until the salmon is slightly caramelized and golden on top.
  6. Drizzle the reserved bang bang sauce over the salmon before serving. Enjoy!
