Spicy edamame is a quick, flavorful appetizer made with tender soybeans tossed in a savory and slightly smoky sauce that’s just like your favorite sushi restaurant’s version (but better!).

- 3 cups edamame (in pods)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon gochugaru (adjust to spice preference)
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Roasted sesame seeds (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Boil or steam the edamame according to package instructions, then drain well.
- In a large bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, gochugaru, sugar, and sesame oil. Stir until the sugar dissolves and the sauce is smooth.
- Add the cooked edamame to the bowl and toss until evenly coated in the sauce.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and sprinkle with roasted sesame seeds, if using. Serve warm and enjoy!
